Rainy.

Ketchikan is in the Tongass National Forest…the largest rainforest in the USA!

Depending on the time of year, Ketchikan will be more or less rainy. Temps throughout the summer will range from the high 40’s to the high 60’s.

Yes! We trained them, from puppies, to pull both for weight, and for speed. They have pulled sled, skiers, bikes, and scooters for most of their lives. At 12 years old, we don’t ask them to pull very much any more. Now they prefer to hold down the sofa and entertain tourists!

Your tour is in the heart of Ketchikan, but that doesn’t mean you won’t see wildlife. The most frequent sightings include Bald Eagles, Harbor Seals, Salmon, Ravens and Starfish. We can’t guarantee any wildlife will be out, but we’ll do our best to find it, if it is!
